SEELIE VS UNSEELIE COURT

It's been said that there are 2 types of Fairies.

Depending on which "Court" the Fairies are from determines whether or not a particular Fairy is categorized as  "Light" or "Dark".  

The Light Fairies are from the "Seelie Court" and are known to be little pranksters at time. These Light Fairies are known to forget their sorrows quickly and for having an easy going attitude. They often seek assistance from humans, to warn those who had accidentally offended them, and to return human kindness with favors of their own. However, don't be fooled. A Fairy belonging to this court could be prone to mischief and can quickly cause some slight trouble. The most common time of day to see them is twilight, but I wonder what goes on when we don't see them.

The Dark Fairies reside in the "Unseelie Court". Unlike the Seelie Court, their idea of pranking is very different. As a group, they appear at night and often target travelers or strangers. It's been rumored that they often carry them through the air and make them do their "work" for them. So, if you are well respected by your peers as a human, you might want to watch out. Many and most "Unseelies" will become quite fond of you if you are and might choose to make you into something of a pet.
